Hi, I’ve been thinking for a long time what You are saying on this site (and saying in such a concise and passionate way). I’ve 4 children, one of whom has a disability, it effects his learning, diagnosis unclear… similar situation as with ds in many respects. Anyway, I’d love to have a chat sometime with you. I’m interested in shining a spotlight and helping to educate people on the many shades of grey in disability… . I’m thinking more and more about ways to affect attitudinal change in our society. You seem like a great Person to start having that conversation with.

Hey Aoife. I’ve been pretty terrible with keeping up to date on the blog, but thank you for the lovely words. No problem with getting in touch. You can reach me directly at nmcgivney at gmail.com at any stage.
